Executive Consultation
The Consultation service involves providing executives with necessary stimuli to help them perceive organizational and/or managerial problems from different perspectives (i.e., a solvable viewpoint), as well as guide them through a process in which their creativity is evoked and systematically applied to generate innovative solutions for problems. For example, the Consultation service can be utilized to provide executives with education about conflicting personalities and psychological dynamics among their managers or staff, as well as strategies of how to address these issues within the organization to maintain productivity and high performance (e.g., the marketing and sales director have problems working together). Action plans, a series of follow-up procedures, and maintenance interventions typically come out of the Consultation service.

Executive Coaching
Executive Coaching is offered when an executive needs a confidential space to discuss issues they are not quite ready to discuss with other senior level executives. Hence, an executive may request feedback on their ideas or a potential plan, or they may need assistance in developing a plan for an idea. This service is often utilized when an organization is in a growth, downsizing, or restructuring period. FPA associates help executives generate specific goals and action plans to implement or structure their ideas about how to go about change. Executive Coaching is also offered when executives have a desire to enhance their professional growth to better prepare themselves for tasks that are significantly different or more challenging than typical projects. Additionally, FPA associates can assist executives in temporary or permanent succession planning.

Corporate Profiling
If you are a corporate executive or director and you deal with mergers and acquisitions, contracts, negotiations, and executive or managerial level disputes, you may be interested in achieving the psychological edge in dealing with these situations.

If you spend time wondering about the following questions prior to your corporate dealings and interactions, an FPA corporate profiler may be for you.

  1. How does this person analyze situations?
  2. How does this person problem solve?
  3. What is the degree to which emotions affect their decisions?
  4. How does this person interact with people to meet their own needs?
  5. What is this person's general purpose when he/she interacts with people?

The psychological edge increases the likelihood of achieving the outcome you desire. It allows you to achieve more positive outcomes efficiently that are mutually beneficial. If you have a better understanding of how your counterpart perceives interactions, you are less likely to say or do things that would result in a personality clash. When a personality clash takes place, it could shut a deal down, significantly hold up an acquisition, or result in losing an important executive. Having an FPA profiler to assist you with the psychological edge allows you to bypass fumbling through your own attempts to understand a counterpart, in order to get a deal done efficiently and with positive outcomes.
